Developing an all-age exploitation strategy for the Pan-Cheshire sub region. A complex project working with key partners across four Local Authorities, Police, Office for Police and Crime Commissioner and health agencies as well as all key criminal justice and safeguarding partnerships.

Working with Ruhama, an International Non-Governmental Organisation supporting women to exit prostitution. Support to develop their organisational strategy utilising a theory of change approach. Work involved consulting with staff, senior leadership team, trustees, external stakeholders as well as interviews and focus groups with service users.
process evaluation
Completing participatory research with young people who had experienced sexual exploitation to support Derbyshire Council improve their strategy meeting process.

Working with the internal consultancy team to develop systems and processes to generate income. Additional support writing bids and proposals. Supporting the development of the whole picture public health approach for local areas.
strategic review
Conducting a whole system domestic abuse strategic review. This project included conducting an in depth listening exercise with victims and survivors, a data driven needs assessment and a review of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).
Project management and research
Project set up support across four Local Authority areas (Devon, Cornwall, Plymouth and Torbay), two Clinical Commissioning Groups and the Office for the Police and Crime Commissioner to deliver the NHS England funded first sexual violence pathfinder site. This included initial scoping research working with sexual violence, mental health and trauma services.
safe accommodation needs assessment and strategy
Designing and delivering a needs assessment methodology using quantitative and qualitative data to understand the strengths and gaps in current safe accommodation options for victims of domestic abuse and design of a forward strategy in line with Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act (2021).
drug related death review process development
Working with Torbay Public Health team and wider partners to develop a robust approach to learning from Drug Related Death’s (DRD) to improve harm reduction approaches across the area.
toolkit development for ending abuse in public life
Developing a national toolkit for councils to assess the extent to which they support and respond to councillors experiencing harassment and abuse as part of the Debate Not Hate portfolio of work. Read the toolkit here.
torbay community based domestic abuse and sexual violence strategy
Supporting Torbay community based organisations, primarily local Community/Voluntary Sector services, to develop a shared strategy to respond to people experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.
Policy and public affairs
Policy and public affairs consultant to support the launch of Plan’s ‘It’s Not Okay’ campaign to end street harassment of girls. Specifically supporting around transforming report recommendations in to policy asks and facilitating communication with key political figures and Government departments.
needs assessment research
Research to explore the needs of male victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Mixed methods approach included quantitative prevalence analysis through crime data. Qualitative thematic analysis was conducted by facilitating interviews and focus groups with survivors as well as a county-wide survey.
business development
Delivering activities to generate income in relation to the organisations Tenancy and Independent Living Skills (TILS) programme. This included stakeholder mapping, engagement, programme review, marketing and customer relationship management.
research
Design and delivery of a research project aimed to understand the needs of older adults experiences of domestic abuse. This research supported the development of a Greater Manchester wide training resource for professionals.

Working with a specialist domestic abuse organisation to review the response to domestic abuse within a drug and alcohol service. This project included a research report with recommendations to strengthen the response within the service, and build collaborative ways of working jointly across services.

Evaluation of a new whole family service for people living in Torbay utilising a mixed methodological approach.

Undertaking a statutory domestic abuse needs assessment in line with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC). Transforming insights in to key priorities for a five year domestic abuse strategy.
strategic consultancy for vulnerabilities
Primarily focussing on violence against women and girls and domestic abuse, leading on the strategic design and implementation of a whole system response. This includes implementation of the Serious Violence Duty as well as regulations under the Domestic Abuse Act.

Conducting a comprehensive domestic abuse whole system needs assessment to inform the future local strategic and commissioning approach. This included engagement with people with lived experience and stakeholders to combine their voice with data to identify insights.
partnership theory of change
Supporting a local domestic abuse and sexual violence community based partnership to develop a Theory of Change (TOC) to help them clearly define their desired local impact and identify the necessary activities to achieve their long-term goals.
intervention evaluation
Evaluation consultant for the Trust for London funded pilot intervention for young men displaying harmful sexual behaviour in a group context.
strategic review and evaluation framework development
Organisational development support to refresh the current strategy by evaluating impact to date. Work included internal and external stakeholder engagement. Following initial work to develop an organisational Theory of Change and accompanying evaluation and monitoring framework.

Conducting a domestic abuse Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and subsequent strategy. The project included engaging professionals across all partner agencies as well as working to incorporate the voices of those with lived experience.

Specifically focussing on understanding the needs of perpetrators of domestic abuse across Tameside we used a mixed methods approach combining service data, online surveys, interviews and workshops to make recommendations for a transformed response.

Supporting Southend City Council to develop a response to domestic abuse in line with the DA Act (2021) statutory duties including developing a Local Partnership Board, conducting a needs assessment, designing a strategy and commissioning services.
